April 15th 2014
The latest beta release for the YANG Editor for the Eclipse IDE has just been released. YANG is a data modeling language described in IETF RFC 6020 and is used to model network elements.
This is the first official beta release and addresses user customizable syntax coloring and tab/space support. Work is currently underway for more complex element modeling based on a YANG document model and Abstract Syntax Tree (AST).  Release of initial AST support is expected in the late June timeframe and may be preceeded by additional beta releases to fix any issues or customer requests that arrive over the next month.
The URL for installing the Eclipse plugin is http://bcsw.net/plugins.   For installation instructions, please refer to the YANG Editor Plugin for Eclipse page.
